Worship-hop

This is about an idea God has given me.  It recently was confirmed at a team building for a boys weekend.

First let me tell you how it was confirmed. It was confirmed by one of the men I respect and look up to the most Mike B. He gave a talk on what we can do today to reach people for Christ in other cultures. One of the points he made was about “Worship” music and how most of us are not likely to go home and listen to the same style of music. But the main point i got out of it  was that we can not expect to go in to a different culture and say there is only one style of music that can be considered worship music, and that we need to go in to the cultures listen to there music and then make worship music in that style. the effect of that is that people would be more willing to listen to it. so that is how my vision was confirmed.

Now for the idea, the vision that God gave me is that i need find a way to make Cd of Worship music in the style of Hip-Hop, Taking some of the song we know in the Church tweaking them a little to the hip-hop style and writing some original songs. And the name of the CD would be Worship-hop. So that is my Idea i felt i just need to put it in writing and see what other people think about it

4:59 A.M.

it is 4:59 am right now and i can’t sleep so i figured i would write a blog. being that i have not done so in a while. So i guess i will write about how i feel. I am happy that school will be out soon and i will graduate in a mouth, i do not know were i am going to college yet but that is ok. Next wed. i semi finels in track for me i tink i I have a pertty good shout at making it to cif this year. i need to find a job so i can save up fpr college. But all  in all i have no complantes. God is taking care of me. I am just happy i have him tgo relay onin the hard times of my life. so that is about it .

2:43 A.M.

It is 2:43am in Cali. and I am am up doing homework and listing to “Pure” by  Superchi[k] just thinking about my life. And I am realizing no matter how bad it seems to be or get God is always there for me I guess i knew this already but I normally don’t think of it during those hard times. I meant I call on him to get me out of the hard time but looking back I never really thanked him during those hard times. And as I sit here thinking about the hard times i am going through now. I just want to thank God for all the times in the past that he was there for me, and thank him for being there for me now, for the knolged that he will get me through this just like he has always done in the past, and for the fact that he will always be here for me no matter what i do. I am just so glad that he is there for me even tho i turned my back on him, he still came running to me when i returned home as the song says.

“…reject abortion…”

 Before I get in to why abortion is wrong let me give you a few facts about abortion. 69% of abortionists say they are not respected in the medical community.

- 65% feel ostracized.

- 87% have been harassed.

- 50% have problems retaining staff.

- 20% have been denied hospital privileges because they do abortions.

 -64% say that the non-abortion part of their practice has suffered because they do abortions.

The reason this is is in the title of my talk. The title of of this blog “reject abortion” which is a quoit from A.D. 1995 Restatement of the Oath of Hippocrates (Circa 400 B.C. Which is the oath that all doctors take. The full quoit is “…will maintain the utmost respect for every human life from fertilization to natural death and reject abortion…”

There are people that say that a baby in the womb is not really human until it is born. Then what is it if it is not human? Is it a vegetable? Like Broccoli or is it a dog or cat? No it is not any of these things. It is human like it says in Genesis 1:24 “And God said, ‘Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds…” In other words at the moment of conception what is in the womb is human. So now that we know what is in the womb is human.

Now let us take a look at what abortion is . According to the AMA (American Medical Association) in abortion 1871 — “The work of destruction; the wholesale destruction of unborn infants.” At least that is what they said in 1871 now they say it is abortion is a medical procedure. It think they had it right the first time. Abortion is the killing of unborn human in other words murder. In Exodus 20.13 “ You shall not murder” Bible says this wrong.

Their have been over 45 million babes aborted. There are over a million aborted every year. The word genocide according to Encyclopedia Britannica means the deliberate and systematic destruction of a group of people because of their ethnicity, nationality, religion, or race. The term, derived from the Greek genos (“race,” “tribe,” or “nation”) and the Latin cide (“killing”). I think this word is a good word to use when were are talking about abortion because inst that what abortion is. It is genocide. Think about their have been over 45 million babes killed thew abortion. 45 million. To me who ever does abortions are killing Americas future. At I think that is genocide.

 I have heard some people argue that there is going to be abortion any ways no matter what so we should just make it legal. You know what i say to that. I say. People are going to no matter what so should we make that legal? There are still going to be people getting raped so should we make it legal? No we shouldn’t just because something is still going to happen legal or not does not mean it should be.

Some people say it is ok for an abortion if the baby is going to have birth defects. This goes back to if the baby is human or not. Which we have already seen in the scripture. So if it is human which it is then no one has the right to take its life. When the disciples asked Jesus who sinned to cause the man in John 9 to be born blind Jesus said in John 9:3 “ ‘ Neither this man nor his parents sinned, ‘ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the work of Gos might be displayed in his life.’ ” The same is true in all of us born or unborn.

Even still there are those that say abortion is okay in case of rape. No it is just as bad. While rape is a terrible thing. That is not just cause for abortion. It is still killing a innocent party. When you should be punishing the rapest not the child it has every right to live and killing it is a sin.

I used the word genocide before. The genocide of abortion is the worst kind of genocide, not only is it killing humans that can’t defend their self, but it is legal at that. We as Christians in America need to stop sitting on the side lines and start to taking action. We need to stop this genocide any why possible that is legal. I am not saying go blow up a abortion clinic. I am saying do what God gave us the ability to do. Pray, Vote, and start to get active in the community, talk to people, write letters to congress, , to any one in the legation, to the Supreme Court . I think this think this genocide has gone on for too long it is time for a change. It is time that we end it. But the only why we are going to do that is with God’s help. So I engorge you all to pray about it and ask God for his help.

The Trinity

1^st what does the word trinity mean. A cording to Webster’s Dictionary it means “The unity of Father, Son, and Holy spirit in three persons, in one Godhead.”

The Bible clearly states that though there in only one God, He is manifested in three persons: Father, Son, Sprit. Each is independent of each other, but never do they act independently.

2^nd What are the Characteristics that only God has

He is Eternal, no beginning, no end

He is Omnipotent, Unlimited Authority

He is Omnipresent, Present in all place and all times

He is Omniscient, all knowing

The last you i am going to mention is He has the ability to forgiver sin

All right now to adress a few things

1^st

Do we have three Gods?

Answer NO despite what other religions would have you believe Christians only have One God We see this a number of times in the bible

Isaiah 44:6

“This is what the LORD says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.

Isaiah 44:8

Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”

Both say there is no other besides him

Deuteronomy 4:35

35 You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other.

Deuteronomy 4:39

Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.

Deuteronomy 6:4

4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one

2 Samuel 7:22

“How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.

Psalm 86:10

For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God

Mark 12:29

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.”

Paul Throughout in Ephesians 4:5-6 and in I Corinthians 8:6 that there is “one God”

All of these scripture talk about the same thing that we serve one God

2^nd Is Jesus God?

Answer yes he is. It is all over the new testament lets start with

John 1:1-14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Next lets look at

John 8:58 were Jesus said that he was the “I am”

Jesus said in John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”

Thomas called Jesus God in John20:28

These were just a few you can also look at Luke 5:20-21,Colossians 1:16-17, Titus 2:13, Hebrews 1:5-8, Revelation 1:8 and 22:13, and Isaiah 9:6-7

3^rd What were some of the things Jesus said

He said to worship only God in Matthew 4:10. He accept worship as God in Matthew 14:31-33. God says worship Jesus in Hebrews 1:6. Jesus said in John 8:24 we would die in our sins if we do not belive that he was who he claim to be.

4^th Is the Holy Spirit God

Answer Yes The bible says the holy spirit has all the characteristics that God has there for he is God

Hebrews 9:14 says the holy spirit is Eternal we learn that the Holy Spirit is Omnipresentin Psalm 139:7-10

The Holy Spirit is Omnipotent says Luke 1:35, John 14:26 says the Holy Spirit is Omniscient. Acts 5:3- 4 says that the holy Spirit is God

In closing here is some other prof for the Trinity

In the old Testament the Hebrew for God is Elohim, which means more then two.

Genesis 1:26 says Let us make man in our image,

I’m sick (not complet yet)

I’m so sick of the way the world is going, it seems every were I look all I see destruction, violence,  sex, muders on the rise. It seems all like  I see is kids going hungry in the streets every single just looken for someone to love them and take care of them. And then I turn to see were the church is at and all I see is the pastors trying to get the bling. It seems like all they talk about is Malicah chapter 3 verse 10 instead of how we should be show love to oneanother and taken car of the widows and the orphans.

It jsut sickens me to see the way the worlds goingn and to know nomatter what do. Its no going to cahnge.
